This 12”Tx20”W panel of the “Makin’ Groceries in Early New Orleans” mural features Rose Nicaud, who sold coffee by the cup on Sundays to purchase her freedom, and Edmond Dede, a composer who was African American,, or “a Free Man of Color, to quote vernacular of the time, who became well-known during his time in France.
This panel features Edmond being created by a patron in the Market.

I call this mural “Sign of the Times”, because it represents the loved ones and cultural heroes we lost to the pandemic, such as Ellis Marsalis (depicted here), the protests over George Floyd’s unlawful demise while wearing masks due to COVID. Jamar Pierre established NOIM to paint a series of images on the Tchoupitoulas flood wall, and asked me to assist with this 10’x40’ panel.

This mural depicts Corrine Degree Walker, the original resident of the area for whom the area is named. It also depicts the occupations of her extended family and the surrounding environment circa 1920.

Painted using a 45’ boom, this logo appears to have been painted before the Drive Thru was built. It is intentionally stumbled to give an older, faded appearance. Painted in 2015.
This logo makes use of the natural roof rise to create the effect of rays emanating from the sun. 6’-10’Tx25’W.

This sign was painted using a rolling scaffold on a temporary plywood flooring. It was made so that banners could be hung announcing various performers at John Schneider Studios. There is a curtain on either side of the barn, but the tree makes better documentary photos difficult.
13”x20”T Portrait for Endangered Species Carousel. This is one of 16 portraits completed and installed.
This was a project funded by a Louisiana Decentralized Arts Grant throughout the Arts Council of New Orleans, and is one of two. This mural was done with TAV art students at McMain High School. The other is at Warren Easton High School, and was funded in 2011.
This mural celebrates the first official land owner of Marrero, Corrine Degree Walker in 1921, soon after her husband widowed her following the influenza pandemic of 1917.
I was the Artist-in-Residence at Isodore Newman School in 2015. I led two murals with the students; this was executed with the middle school students.
Since 1998, I have painted many murals for the Aquarium, especially for the Freeport McMoran Changing Exhibit Area.

My mural work for the Institute began in 1997 with work in the Zoo's Earth Lab exhibit. I have gone on to execute many projects for the Zoo, which occasionally includes repainting existing signage with my own custom touch.

I first began working for the Kerns in 1996, having been hired at Kern Sculpture to paint 3D items for installation for commercial clients. I now mainly do float work for them since I prefer to maintain a free-lance status.

In 2016, I traveled to Orlando, FL to paint 6 floats for Universal Studios annual Mardi Gras parade. They love to add lots of glitter and lights, and it also has an arch which cannot be attached until it is finally on site.

This 20’Tx50’L float was painted for Krewe of Muses’ “Night at the Museum” 2018 parade. I also worked as the scenic charge ad hired 7 other artists to paint floats for this parade.

This 20’Tx50’L float was painted for the Krewe of Muses “Night at the Museum” parade in 2018. It attempts to make light of flooding issues in the city and features the phrase “Ye Olde Cajun Navy” at the bottom.
In 2015, I was hired to do various custom signage for this New Orleans hotel.
The Grangers asked me to do a house float for them at their residence on State Street for Mardi Gras during the pandemic. We chose “State of the Art” as their theme, and from there “Sunday Afternoon at the Fly’ was born.

In 2019, Preservation Resource Center asked me to make two sculptures for the 2019 Art in Bloom at New Orleans Museum of Art. One showed a blighted house covered in vines, and the other was an example of a restored house.
My first attempt at sidewalk chalk art in 30 years, during a special celebration at the International House Hotel.
I painted 16 portraits for the big top portion of the Audubon Zoo’s Endangered Species Carousel in 2016.
These are the first two of five I made for John Schneider Studios. Cut out of plywood, framed for use with pole mount, clear coated with exterior-quality varnish.

I design and led convention party-goers in painting this mural, which was then donated to a school. 8’Tx20’W, on 1/4” cabinet-grade plywood.
In 2017, John Schneider produced a pilot for CMT, or Country Music Television. I painted many set pieces for this production, which he still uses in the theatre today.
